DJ Crash & Burn has one of the best collections of early black music in East London. From Early Rock & Roll to Jump Jive, from rare Funk 45's to Sizzling Sista Soul, from Calypso to Bossa Nova and Latin Boogaloo his favourite thing is to get your hips swivellin' and your butt shakin'.

His monthly residency "Too Hot To Handle" at the Vibe bar attracts around 600 people for a romantic & fun excursion to planet jive. Slap on some cherry red lipstick and get the creases on your zoot suits pressed razor sharp then dance cheek to cheek with your lover (or future lover). A saucy, and downright fun soul hoe down! "Too Hot To Handle is on the fourth Saturday of the month.

Crash & Burn's monthly residency at the Flash Monkey is one of the hottest tickets in town. The best Burlesque Cabaret night bar none, it is held at London's renowned Cafe de Paris and at special events around the capital. For those in the know this night is one of the coolest events in London attracting a truly bohemian crowd of misfits and late night lovers.

Every Sunday afternoon you can catch Simon at the Vibe Bar where you can hear all the original breaks used in hip hop and then some. Check out the excellent markets at Brick Lane and Spitalfields befrore joining him for a sup and a little sofa surfing in one of London's longest running chill-out clubs. From groovy jazz to psychedelic dancers, from disco to underground funk & soul, "The Sunday Hoe Down" is a great hangout now in it's 10th year.

His Monthly Wedesday at Favela Chic "Go-Go to Hell! is a fab go-go dancing competition with live bands and go-go dancing hula girls to get the blood running through your veins just that bit faster. Dress up and come down. Tassled bikinis, Knee High Boots Zoot suits and beehives are the order of the day. Go-Go wild to that crazy beat!

Simon has been DJing and collecting the best music for 20 years, he cut his teeth on illegal outdoor parties - playing to revellers in caves, disused quarries and festivals.

As co-founder of the best thing ever to hit Leeds, 'It's Obvious' at the Leeds Warehouse Simon teamed up with DJ Rich Williams. A great musical partnership was formed - creating a party atmosphere with wildbeats and crazy party tracks on three decks. Crash & Burn played alongside DJs & Acts including Jon Carter, DJ Food, Ronnie Size, Aphex Twin & Squarepusher and helped to establish some of these acts in the north of England as well as promoting the Big Beat scene.
